Stripe international card fee calculator — foreign-issued cards in 2026

Foreign-issued cards cost more on Stripe, and by how much depends on your account’s region. US accounts add a flat 1.5% on top of the domestic 2.9% + 30¢ — so 4.4% + 30¢ for any non-US card. UK and Eurozone accounts switch rate instead: 3.25% + 20p / €0.25 for international cards, with a cheaper corridor in between — EEA cards on UK accounts and UK cards on Eurozone accounts pay just 2.5% + fixed (pick the corridor under the toggle). Currency conversion adds another 1% (US) or 2% (UK/EU). The calculator above opens with the international tier already on.
